The Big Four accounting companies have made significant pushes into Big Law’s territory as of late, with firms like EY doubling down on investments in both legal tech and talent. Cornelius Grossmann, the global law leader at EY, thinks the company has the advantage of having a strong stack of services at their disposal.

“We have technology we can offer. We have legal managed services and outsourced services we can offer onshore and offshore, and we have a global network for domain knowledge in 84 countries we can offer. And so, yes, we definitely think we are in a very good position,” Grossmann said.
